Tips and Advice
Titanium Jewelry Care
Titanium is a biocompatible metal : there is a very little chance of being allergic to it. However, a word of caution: titanium can “write” on glass or porcelain. If you have an object made of titanium, be careful when handling glasses or dishes. Avoid applying pressure, as this will produce a thin layer of metal resembling a scratch. The same advice applies to your windshield, windows, ceramic objects, etc.
White Gold Care
White gold is an alloy composed of 750 parts of fine gold (Au) to 250 parts of palladium (Pd). It is the presence of palladium that gives white gold its white color, which, in its pure metal state (24 karat fine gold), is intense yellow. This is why, over time, white gold tends to turn yellow and become dull. To help stabilize the white color of this gold, it can be dipped in a Rhodium (Rh) bath. This operation, called “rhodium plating,” must be repeated at regular intervals to maintain the shine of the jewel.

Changing the Color of a GaluchArt Ring
All GaluchArt silver items can be colored at will using nail polish. Avoid coloring GaluchArt gold, titanium, or “Jewelry” rings that are set with diamonds, sapphires, or rubies. Here are 3 steps on how to color a silver ring:
Step 1: Clean the ring
Start by cleaning the ring thoroughly with a soft cloth and soapy water. This will remove any dirt or grease that could interfere with the adhesion of the nail polish.
Step 2: Apply the nail polish
Apply a thin layer of nail polish to the ring. Be sure to avoid applying too much polish, as this can make the ring look bulky.
Step 3: Let the polish dry
Let the nail polish dry completely before wearing the ring. It is best to let the polish dry for at least 24 hours.
Additional Tips:
If you want a more durable finish, you can apply a top coat of nail polish after the color polish has dried.
You can also use nail polish remover to remove the color polish if you want to change the color of the ring.
Be careful not to get nail polish on the skin or eyes. If you do, rinse immediately with water.
